Mstar SocialHub Privacy Policy
Applies to the Mstar SocialHub application and the social media channels connected through it.
1. Scope
This policy describes how Mstar SocialHub collects, uses and protects information when a business uses the application to manage, schedule and publish content to connected social media channels (including Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and similar platforms).
2. Information We Collect
Mstar SocialHub collects the following categories of information to operate the service:
- Administrator account information: full name, work email, contact phone number.
- Connected social channel information: page/channel name, channel ID, access permissions granted via each platform's OAuth.
- Post content: text, images and videos created or uploaded by the user to be scheduled for publishing.
- Performance metrics: reach, views, engagement and follower counts returned by the social platform's official API.
3. Purpose of Use
Collected information is used only to:
- Publish, schedule and manage content on channels the user has authorized.
- Display content performance reports to the business that owns the channel.
- Operate the AI content assistant feature at the user's request.
- Provide technical support and service status notifications.
Mstar SocialHub does not sell, rent or share user data with third parties beyond the service purposes stated above.
4. Social Platform API Access
When connecting a channel, the user grants access within the exact scope requested by that platform (for example, posting permission or analytics read permission). Mstar SocialHub only uses the granted access within its approved scope and does not perform actions outside that scope.
5. Storage and Security
Data is stored on infrastructure operated by Mstar Corp, with access control based on administrator accounts. API access tokens for each channel are encrypted at rest and used only for the declared API calls.
6. Data Retention
Data is retained for as long as the business continues to use the service. When a business stops using the service or disconnects a channel, that channel's access token is revoked and the related data is deleted upon request.
7. User Rights
Users may request to view, edit or delete their account information and disconnect any linked social channel at any time by contacting Mstar Corp's support team.
